Engineering Manager - Authentication at Pindrop

What is this role?

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Authentication team. This is a full-time, remote position suited for an experienced manager who is ready to drive technical excellence. You will play a pivotal role in our growth, helping us scale our systems to meet the needs of our expanding customer base while fostering a high-performing, collaborative team culture.

What will you do?

• Guide and mentor a team of engineers, focusing on quality execution, architectural best practices, and professional development.
• Manage team capacity and task assignments across multiple projects to ensure we meet our goals with predictability and high velocity.
• Collaborate closely with product leadership to expand our solution capabilities and implement innovative features that define the voice security market.

• At least 2 years of experience managing software engineering teams and 5 to 8 years of professional development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, along with experience in AWS or similar cloud environments.
• A deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and API-based products.
• Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Familiarity with container orchestration, SQL/NoSQL databases, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
