Engineering Manager, Atlas at Anchorage Digital

We are backed by industry leaders like Andreessen Horowitz, Goldman Sachs, and Visa, and we are looking for a talented Engineering Manager to join our Atlas team. This is a strategic, high-visibility role where you will lead a young business line with significant growth potential, all while working in a fully remote environment.

What you'll be doing

• Drive the healthy growth of your engineering team by actively recruiting high-caliber talent and fostering a culture where every member feels challenged, supported, and fulfilled.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers to refine our technical roadmap, ensuring our development plans align with team bandwidth and the broader goals of the organization.
• Mentor and coach your team members to help them achieve their professional goals while maintaining high standards for code quality, test infrastructure, and operational excellence.

What you'll bring

We value strong engineering and management fundamentals above any specific language, though we primarily use Go. You should be comfortable working with a geographically distributed team and possess the following:

• Proven experience managing, mentoring, and scaling engineering teams.
• Deep technical expertise in building complex distributed systems.
• A methodical approach to software development, prioritizing end-user experience and business value.
• Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, including concurrency, algorithms, and data structures.
• A self-driven, humble, and tenacious mindset.
• Bonus points if you have experience in the finance industry or professional proficiency in Rust, TypeScript, or Solidity.
