Engineering Manager Analytics at Lattice

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our Analytics team on a full-time, remote basis. At Lattice, we are dedicated to building a people success platform that helps organizations thrive by prioritizing employee growth and engagement. Since our launch in 2016, we have grown to support over 5,000 customers globally, including companies like Robinhood and Gusto. Our Analytics team is currently focused on two major initiatives: providing embedded insights for internal developers and creating a centralized product experience that allows managers to uncover trends and make data-driven decisions. As a leader in this space, you will guide our full-stack team as we refine these systems and deliver impactful, user-facing experiences.

Responsibilities

• Translate our high-level company strategy into clear, actionable goals for your team while aligning technical initiatives with our broader organizational priorities.
• Mentor and coach individual engineers to promote their technical growth and professional development, ensuring they are empowered to do their best work.
• Collaborate closely with our Product and Design teams to build new customer-facing features and improve the performance and reliability of our existing analytics tools.

Requirements

We are seeking a candidate with at least 4 years of experience in managing software engineering teams. You should have a proven ability to foster an inclusive, high-performing culture while balancing technical architecture with product needs. Key qualifications include:

• Demonstrated success in inspiring and mentoring team members through performance feedback and career development.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to adjust your messaging effectively for engineers, executives, and non-technical stakeholders.
• A track record of navigating ambiguity and taking ownership of outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional experience with our core technology stack, which includes Node.js, React, Flow, GraphQL, Postgres, and Amazon Web Services.

What we offer
