We are searching for a dedicated Software Engineering Manager to lead our Automated Intelligence and Clinical Data teams. At Sprinter, our mission is to reimagine last-mile healthcare delivery for patients who are currently underserved by the traditional system. Key outcomes
- Identify critical care gaps and predict future patient risks through deep analysis of clinical records.
- Utilize Large Language Models to synthesize comprehensive clinical summaries for our nurse practitioners.
- Harmonize reporting processes for in-home visits and patient engagement across millions of records.
- Implement automated validation and anomaly detection to ensure the integrity of medical data.
- Architect and develop our unified data warehouse to consolidate our clinical, operational, and logistics information.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team through effective hiring and performance management.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in engineering management, specifically leading teams of 5 to 10 individuals.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience with a strong focus on full-stack development.
- Proficiency in full-stack technologies, with a preference for Node.js and React.
- Proven ability to lead data-intensive initiatives, including work with data pipelines, analytics platforms, or ML infrastructure.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product, operations, and data teams to deliver measurable business impact.
- Fluency in English and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
Preferred qualifications
- Background in health tech, healthcare operations, or complex logistics such as routing, scheduling, and supply forecasting.
- Experience scaling backend systems to accommodate rapid business expansion.
- Practical knowledge of Big Data platforms and data pipelines.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance, data privacy standards, and security best practices within regulated industries.
