Engineering Manager, Ad Engineering at Fubo

We are Fubo, and we are on a mission to redefine the global live TV streaming experience by offering the best premium content and interactive features. Operating across the United States, Canada, France, and Spain, we are constantly expanding our reach and our technology capabilities. As we continue to grow our subscriber base and service offerings, we are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our team in New York City on a full-time, hybrid basis. This executive-level role is central to our success, as you will lead our Core Ads Team in building the systems that power our advertising ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of backend engineers, fostering a healthy environment focused on career development and technical excellence.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and sales stakeholders to define the vision and roadmap for our core ad delivery platform.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-frequency distributed systems and data processing components that ensure the reliability and security of our advertising services.

Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience delivering production-quality software, including at least 3 years specifically within the Adtech industry.
• At least 1 year of experience in a management role, with a proven ability to lead engineering teams.
• Expertise in building services using Golang, Java, or C++, along with familiarity in modern deployment tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of data privacy, secure architectures, and cloud-agnostic development.

What we offer

The base salary for this position ranges from $200,000 to $240,000 per year, depending on experience and other business considerations. In addition to base pay, you will be eligible for the following perks and benefits:
