Engineering Lead at Tripalink

We are Tripalink, a growth-stage Proptech company based in Los Angeles. We are backed by major Silicon Valley investors and real estate experts, and we are on a mission to modernize the rental experience. By using AI to create frictionless solutions for renters and better economics for property owners, we have managed to grow seven times over the last three years. We are looking for talented people to help us continue this momentum.

What is this role?

We are looking for an Engineering Lead to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone with significant experience in the industry. While we offer a hybrid work model, we have a preference for candidates located in the Los Angeles or San Francisco Bay areas. You will be instrumental in guiding our technical direction and helping us scale our products.

What will you do?

• Work closely with product managers, designers, and operations teams to ship high-quality products through rapid, iterative development cycles.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle, including designing, building, and maintaining our web platforms, CRM tools, resident portals, and AI-driven applications.
• Provide hands-on leadership to your team and across the company, while keeping up with new technologies to ensure we are always using the best tools for the job.

What makes you a great fit?

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in software engineering and a passion for mentoring others. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 8 years of software engineering experience, specifically with SaaS products or internet services, along with 2 or more years in an engineering management role.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience working with frameworks such as Spring Boot, React, Angular, Node.js, or Django.
• Practical knowledge of AWS infrastructure and relational databases like MySQL.
• A proven ability to attract and develop top-tier technical talent.
• Experience delivering business solutions powered by LLMs is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
