Role at a glance
We are looking for an Engineering Lead to join our core team on a full-time basis. This is a lead-level position that operates in a hybrid environment, with our hubs located in San Francisco and New York City. You will be responsible for managing a small, high-trust team while directly contributing to our product stack and influencing our overall technical strategy.
Your impact
- Attract and develop top-tier engineering talent while fostering a culture of ownership and high performance.
- Drive critical technical decisions and ship code daily to improve our financial platform.
- Collaborate across the organization to refine our product strategy and deepen your expertise in the venture financing industry.
What you'll need
- At least 5 years of experience writing production-level code, with specific proficiency in Ruby or React.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a management or leadership role.
- Strong written communication skills, as our culture relies heavily on documentation and clear expression.
- A self-starter mindset, demonstrated by your history of building things from scratch, such as open-source projects or startups.
- A genuine passion for the startup ecosystem and the ability to thrive in high-ambiguity environments.
