At Wingspan Networks, Inc., we build scalable software solutions that help our clients meet ambitious goals, and we are looking for an experienced leader to guide our platform engineering efforts from anywhere in the United States.
What you bring
We need a senior Engineering Lead Platform to join us full time in a remote capacity. In this role you will guide the design and delivery of high-quality backend systems, steer complex projects from concept to launch, and foster a collaborative engineering culture. Your background should include hands-on work with TypeScript, rigorous software testing practices, and proven project management skills that keep cross-functional teams aligned and on schedule.
- Design, develop, and launch scalable software solutions that satisfy client requirements and maintain high standards of quality.
- Partner with colleagues across product, design, and operations to integrate new features smoothly and deliver projects on time.
- Continuously refine existing systems by spotting inefficiencies, refactoring code, and championing engineering best practices.
This position is fully remote, and you may work from any location within the United States.
Requirements
You hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field, along with at least three years of progressive experience in software engineering after graduation. You are fluent in English and bring deep expertise in end-to-end project management, software testing methodologies, TypeScript backend development, and translating broad product goals into precise technical plans that guide engineering teams. Beyond these technical skills, you demonstrate strong communication, mentorship abilities, and a collaborative mindset that elevates the entire group.
What we offer
The salary range for this position is $185,000 to $193,930 annually. In addition, we support a fully remote work arrangement so you can contribute from anywhere in the United States.
