What is this role?

We are seeking an Engineering Lead for Digital & Omnichannel Technology to join us on a full-time basis. This is a lead-level position that is 100% remote, though you will report to our headquarters in Ballwin, Missouri. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery and operations of our various digital touchpoints, including our website and mobile applications.

What will you do?

• Lead our development and operations team in building and maintaining scalable web and mobile software solutions that support our SaaS platforms.
• Collaborate with our security, infrastructure, and digital experience teams to translate business needs into high-quality technical designs and documentation.
• Mentor junior software developers and provide guidance to contract staff throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

What makes you a great fit?

To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field, along with 5 years of progressive experience. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in an Agile environment and possesses the following technical expertise:

• Programming and Databases: Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, React, Node.js, MongoDB, and Oracle.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, CloudFront, S3, CloudWatch, and Route 53.
• Architecture and DevOps: A strong background in SpringBoot, SpringBatch, and container orchestration tools like AWS EKS, ECS, and Fargate. You should also be well-versed in Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Test-Driven Development.
• Communication: You must be fluent in English to effectively collaborate with our cross-functional teams.
