Role at a glance

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Cost Controls Manager to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. This role is pivotal in planning and overseeing our project cost functions. While we are primarily looking for someone based in France, we are also open to candidates located in Belgium, the Netherlands, or the United Kingdom.

Your impact

• Develop and implement robust project cost procedures, ensuring all activities like field estimating, data collection, and budget forecasting align with our company standards.
• Monitor the integrity of project budgets and provide quality assurance to our teams regarding financial tracking and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with project leads and schedulers to identify trends, assess risk exposure, and mitigate potential budget variances through detailed cost analysis.

What you'll need

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Finance.
• At least 10 years of experience in cost management or project controls, ideally within the chemical or textile sectors.
• Expertise in costing and estimating for complex engineering or construction projects.
• Proficiency in project management tools, specifically Microsoft Project.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with French language skills considered a valuable asset.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and a self-motivated, organized approach to managing shifting priorities.
