The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our growing team. As we scale, we are expanding our various engineering pods, which range from our Core Product and Growth teams to our specialized Infrastructure, Security, and Aggregation units. In this role, you will play a vital part in building high-quality features that directly impact our users' financial lives. Whether you are focused on rapid experimentation, enhancing data connectivity, or strengthening our platform architecture, you will be instrumental in evolving our product based on real user feedback.

A day in the life

• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features that help our members reach their financial goals, whether you are working on our web platform or mobile applications.
• You will contribute to our full-stack environment by writing clean, maintainable code using TypeScript, React, Python, and Django, while ensuring our infrastructure remains robust through AWS, Docker, and Terraform.
• You will participate in our collaborative remote culture, which balances synchronous communication during our core hours with focused, asynchronous work to keep our projects moving forward efficiently.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer with a product-centric mindset who takes genuine pride in building software that people love. You are comfortable working with autonomy in an early-stage, high-growth environment and you enjoy navigating ambiguity. You communicate clearly in English and are passionate about mentoring others, maintaining excellent documentation, and sharing knowledge across the team. You have experience with or a strong interest in our core technology stack, including React, React Native, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and cloud-native tools.
