We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. The Clinical Health Network for Transformation (CHN) is a unique collaboration of Planned Parenthood affiliates across the United States, dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable healthcare to our communities. Responsibilities
- Plan, maintain, and coordinate network operations, including the management of LANs, WANs, and various data communication systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Serve as a technical expert and escalation point for complex infrastructure issues, while working alongside service providers and integrators to meet delivery standards.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools and automation to streamline incident analysis, root cause investigation, documentation, and overall service improvement, all while adhering to our strict security and privacy protocols.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills. We require the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of professional experience.
- Extensive experience with cloud, virtual, and physical network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Demonstrated ability to manage incidents and tasks within an ITSM framework.
- Proficiency in using AI-assisted workflows for troubleshooting and operational decision support, paired with a solid understanding of enterprise security and data-handling requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust across diverse teams and cultural environments.
- Availability to provide support during days, evenings, and weekends as needed for 24/7 operations.
- A strong commitment to advancing racial equity and addressing structural racism in healthcare.
- Preferred certifications include CCNP, CCIE R&S, and CCA-N.
