Role at a glance
We are looking for a Senior Structural Facade Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. This is a key role for a seasoned professional who wants to take ownership of complex engineering assignments and help shape our growing US operations.
Your impact
- Perform detailed structural analysis and computations for architectural cladding projects to ensure they meet all performance objectives.
- Conduct internal structural reviews of shop drawings and prepare submission-ready calculations for professional engineering stamps.
- Evaluate system mock-ups and conduct site visits to assess the structural performance of our building envelope systems in the real world.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you should be a detail-oriented problem solver with a deep understanding of building envelope science. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or at least five years of equivalent professional experience.
- An active Professional Engineer license in at least one US state, with the ability to obtain comity in others.
- Strong proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, alongside AutoCAD and MS Office.
- A solid grasp of North American building codes and standards, specifically the International Building Code and ASCE 7.
- Excellent communication skills in English to collaborate effectively with our technical teams.
