About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer, Powertrain Calibration & Testing to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is central to our mission, as you will be responsible for defining the driving characteristics of our upcoming all-electric pick-up trucks and rugged SUVs. You will work at the intersection of software development and vehicle performance, ensuring that our powertrain systems meet the highest standards of efficiency, diagnostics, and off-road capability.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the development and integration of powertrain and drive systems, including hands-on testing and software implementation.
• Analyze data and create technical reports to support software releases while ensuring that drive attributes like NVH and performance align with our brand standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including chassis tuning and systems architects, to solve complex engineering challenges and refine the overall Scout driving experience.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field, with a preference for electrical engineering.
• At least 4 years of experience in serial development or concept engineering, specifically focusing on software calibration and validation.
• Proficiency in Matlab and C programming, along with the ability to interpret Simulink flow diagrams.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with calibration tools, testbenches, and vehicle-level data integration.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Location

This position is based in Novi, MI, and requires regular on-site attendance for meetings and collaborative events.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 to $135,000. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your wellbeing, including:
