We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team and help us drive the development of our Pendo for Employees product. Key outcomes
- Lead and mentor a team of 5 to 10 software and quality engineers.
- Partner with your team's technical lead to ensure the successful delivery of product features through an Agile framework.
- Prioritize and balance competing product needs to help shape our technical roadmap.
- Support the professional growth of your team members and oversee the onboarding process for new hires.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience managing a team of 5 or more engineers.
- A strong foundation in designing complex systems or writing production-level code.
- Hands-on experience in frontend development with modern frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular, or backend development using languages such as Go, Python, Java, Ruby, or C#.
- A proven ability to inspire technical teams to produce high-quality software.
- Experience in influencing technical strategy and driving organizational change.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Practical experience with cloud application development.
- Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Heap, Mixpanel, Adobe Analytics, or Gainsight.
- A background working in a fast-paced startup or a smaller company environment.
- A demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
Compensation
The salary range for this full-time, on-site position is 185,000 USD to 200,000 USD. Final compensation is determined based on your specific qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
