Responsibilities
- Translate complex business requirements into high-quality, customer-focused technical solutions.
- Write clean, testable code using modern development practices and Test-Driven Development where applicable.
- Take full ownership of your work, from initial deployment to troubleshooting production issues and participating in on-call rotations.
- Engage in constructive peer reviews to maintain high code standards and share knowledge across the team.
- Collaborate closely with product designers and analysts to refine features and enhance the user experience.
- Foster an inclusive team environment by actively participating in meetings, retrospectives, and pairing sessions.
- Manage stakeholder expectations while delivering tasks both independently and as part of a collaborative unit.
Must-haves
- At least 2 years of experience in software development, specifically with dynamic, public-facing applications.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong experience with React or a similar modern front-end framework.
- Working knowledge of back-end technologies, preferably Ruby on Rails.
- Experience managing data with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and collaborative problem-solving.
- Fluency in English.
