Engineer III (Fullstack) at Envato-2

As a certified B Corp, we blend purpose with profit and are looking for a dedicated Fullstack Engineer III to join our remote team and help shape the future of our flagship platform, Elements.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex business requirements into high-quality, customer-focused technical solutions.
• Write clean, testable code using modern development practices and Test-Driven Development where applicable.
• Take full ownership of your work, from initial deployment to troubleshooting production issues and participating in on-call rotations.
• Engage in constructive peer reviews to maintain high code standards and share knowledge across the team.
• Collaborate closely with product designers and analysts to refine features and enhance the user experience.
• Foster an inclusive team environment by actively participating in meetings, retrospectives, and pairing sessions.
• Manage stakeholder expectations while delivering tasks both independently and as part of a collaborative unit.

Must-haves

• At least 2 years of experience in software development, specifically with dynamic, public-facing applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong experience with React or a similar modern front-end framework.
• Working knowledge of back-end technologies, preferably Ruby on Rails.
• Experience managing data with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and collaborative problem-solving.
• Fluency in English.
