Engineer Energy Projects at Greenchoice

We are Greenchoice, a Dutch clean-energy company helping homes and businesses switch to renewable power. Our team designs and delivers integrated energy systems that combine solar, battery storage, and smart infrastructure, and we are now looking for someone to strengthen that effort in Rosmalen.

What is this role?

This is a full-time, mid-level Engineer Energy Projects position. The work is hybrid, so you will split your time between our Rosmalen office and project sites across the Netherlands.

What will you do?

• You will create detailed energy-system designs in AutoCAD, covering everything from rooftop layouts to grid connections and battery storage.
• You will visit project locations, gather on-site information, and turn those findings into clear, buildable technical plans.
• You will work closely with sales, fellow engineers, installation teams, and customers to refine designs, improve safety, and control costs.

What makes you a great fit?

You hold a technical qualification at MBO4 or HBO level and already have solid experience with AutoCAD, especially 2-D drawings. You are curious about photovoltaic systems, energy storage, grid integration, and how these elements work together. Strong communication skills in both English and Dutch help you move smoothly between technical details and team discussions. You enjoy taking ownership, spotting improvements, and seeing your ideas come to life on site.

What's in it for you?

We offer a gross monthly salary between €3,200 and €5,200 for a 40-hour week, excluding 8 % holiday allowance. On top of that you can earn a performance bonus of up to two additional monthly salaries each year. After an initial fixed-term contract we aim to convert to a permanent role when both sides feel it is a good match.
