The role
We are looking for a Mid-Level CNC Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Luton. This position is perfect for a hands-on professional who thrives in a busy machine shop environment and wants to play a key role in our expanding operations. You will be expected to travel occasionally to support installations across the UK, Europe, and international locations.
Core responsibilities
- Operate and offset CNC milling and turning machines to produce precise components.
- Utilize manual milling and turning equipment, including lathes, to support our production requirements.
- Interpret complex engineering drawings to ensure all manufactured parts meet our high quality standards.
Skills and experience
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in manufacturing and a proactive, quality-focused mindset. We value the following qualifications:
- Proven experience working within a machine shop environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings.
- Experience with Fanuc controls is considered a helpful advantage.
- A full driving licence is required for this position.
- Fluency in English is necessary for effective communication within our team.
Compensation and benefits
The salary for this position is £35,000 per annum. We also offer a comprehensive package to support our team members:

- Coverage for expenses and subsidies during required overnight travel.
- A standard work week running Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 5:15pm, and Friday from 8:00am to 1:00pm.
