What you bring

We are seeking a mid-level Embedded Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is based in Irvine, California, and requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of four days onsite each week. As a core member of our software group, you will play a key role in developing the technology that drives our StreamCaster radios. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing MAC and mobile ad-hoc networking routing protocols.
• Building network management software and intuitive web interfaces.
• Designing and integrating security protocols, encryption algorithms, and audio streaming applications.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Computer, or Communications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. We look for candidates with at least three years of relevant embedded system development experience, or one year if you hold an advanced STEM degree. You must have strong expertise in C programming and practical experience with Linux kernel driver development. Because we work with clients under U.S. government contracts, you must be a U.S. citizen. We value candidates who possess a deep understanding of networking layers, socket programming, and security standards, and we appreciate those who bring a collaborative and detail-oriented mindset to our engineering challenges.

What we offer

We offer a competitive salary range of 100,000 USD to 140,000 USD, which is determined based on your unique experience and qualifications. In addition to our compensation package, we provide the following benefit:
