The role
We are looking for a Junior Embedded Security Engineer to join our cybersecurity team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in Gurgaon, India, where you will report directly to our Senior Staff Embedded Security Architect. If you are passionate about hardware and embedded software security, this position offers a unique chance to protect the systems that power the global EV revolution.
Core responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive security assessments and vulnerability analysis on both physical and logical aspects of our embedded systems.
- Execute rigorous penetration testing to uncover potential security weaknesses and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Work alongside our hardware and software development teams to provide actionable security recommendations and define robust security protocols.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong foundation in embedded systems and a drive to secure them. We look for the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Between 1 and 3 years of professional experience working with hardware security or embedded systems.
- A deep understanding of embedded architecture and hardware design principles.
- Proven experience participating in hackathons or other collaborative technical projects.
- Familiarity with secure coding practices, cryptographic principles, and IoT security challenges is highly valued.
- Hands-on experience with embedded platforms, Linux, or microcontrollers is a significant plus.
