The role

We are hiring an Email Marketing & Lifecycle Strategist to join us full time at the mid-level. In this position you will lead email marketing campaigns and lifecycle programs that support our performance marketing efforts and help drive revenue across the platform.

Core responsibilities

• Plan, write, and send weekly email newsletters while building and maintaining lifecycle automation flows that keep supporters engaged from first interaction through repeat funding.
• Coordinate campaign timing across web and email channels, turning new project launches into clear, on-brand email content that converts.
• Review performance data from our ESP, internal tools, and Google Analytics to refine messaging, test new approaches, and report results to the Director of Performance Marketing.

Skills and experience

You bring at least three years of hands-on experience in email marketing or CRM work, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects at once. You are comfortable writing copy that matches a consistent brand voice and using data to shape new campaign ideas. Familiarity with lifecycle marketing, newsletter management, product merchandising, and digital marketing is important, as is knowledge of customer data and privacy best practices. Advanced Excel and Looker skills are preferred, and prior work in crowdfunding or e-commerce is a plus. Because we collaborate across teams, you should be ready to communicate clearly with colleagues at every level. This role requires fluency in English.

Compensation and benefits

The target annual base salary range for this position is $75,000 – $85,000.
