At CoLife, we are tackling the housing crisis by making living arrangements safer, more accessible, and affordable. We connect homeowners with renters who share similar values and interests, directly addressing the growing issue of social isolation. With home sizes increasing while new construction lags, we believe sharing space is a powerful way to foster human connection and reduce living costs. We have recently closed our pre-seed round and are backed by Platform, a San Francisco venture studio, alongside investors like Alpaca VC and Social Leverage VC.
The role
We are looking for a Senior Elixir Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position where you will collaborate closely with our CTO and other company leaders to build our platform. We are seeking someone who is ready to thrive in a fast-paced, agile startup environment.
Core responsibilities
- Develop new features and write high-quality code to support our platform growth.
- Collaborate directly with our leadership team to influence key technical decisions.
- Utilize Elixir, Phoenix, and LiveView to build robust, scalable solutions.
Skills and experience
- At least 5 years of professional development experience.
- Strong preference for candidates with hands-on experience in Elixir and Phoenix.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- A self-motivated mindset with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
- A desire to contribute to a small, scrappy, and fun team.
