Role at a glance
We are hiring a Senior Electrical Mechanical Engineer for a full-time, on-site position based in the United States. You will be responsible for the comprehensive care of our rail fleet, ensuring all work meets strict OEM standards and FRA regulations.
Your impact
- You will handle the inspection, testing, and repair of critical electrical and electronic systems, such as propulsion, braking, cab signaling, and train control units.
- You will manage the maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and the car-shell, including HVAC units, drive assemblies, couplers, and braking components.
- You will act as a key responder for service failures and maintain precise records of all repairs using our maintenance management software.
What you'll need
To thrive in this role, you should be a seasoned professional with deep expertise in electrical systems, mechanical troubleshooting, and rigorous testing protocols. You must be comfortable operating specialized shop equipment, including cranes, hoists, and electronic diagnostic tools. Proficiency in English is required to ensure clear communication and adherence to safety documentation.
