What you bring
As a senior-level Electrical Engineering Intern, you will join our team for a full-time summer internship based at our state of the art facility in Berkeley, California. You will take ownership of meaningful projects while collaborating with our experienced engineering staff to advance our Direct Air Capture technologies. Your primary responsibilities include the following:
- Developing and designing human machine interfaces and web tools for remote data extraction.
- Automating data gathering and analysis processes to support our engineering goals.
- Assisting with hands-on shop floor activities, including panel wiring, industrial controls, and working with electrical schematics.
Requirements
We are looking for students currently pursuing a degree in electrical or computer engineering who possess a strong drive to innovate. You should be comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced start-up environment and demonstrate excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Proficiency in software development and instrumentation is essential, specifically with C#, Visual Studio, and SQL. Experience with Python, Arduino, and AutoCAD is highly preferred. Please note that this role involves physical activity, such as operating machinery, climbing, and lifting loads of up to 40 pounds. What we offer
We are pleased to offer a compensation rate of $25 per hour for this position, which amounts to $40,000 annually. We want you to have a balanced and enjoyable summer experience, so we provide the following:
- A full-time, paid internship experience.
- Time off during the week of July 4th.
- Select Fridays off to ensure you have time to rest and recharge.
