Electrical Engineer at Wwprosolutions

World Wide Professional Solutions is a project solutions organization dedicated to implementing lean construction and collaborative contracting to drive performance breakthroughs. We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is based in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, and will require frequent travel to Costa Rica. We are seeking a self-motivated professional who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and lead the design of electrical systems for large-scale greenfield and retrofit projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and designers in the research, development, and modification of electrical systems for mission-critical data centers and advanced technology manufacturing facilities.
• Provide comprehensive engineering services, including power distribution design, load calculations for 480V to 15KV levels, and the coordination of switchgear, motors, and cable tray layouts.
• Conduct power quality, capacity, and short circuit studies while ensuring all designs align with National Electrical Code, NFPA documents, and TIA Tier classifications.

Requirements

• A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is required, along with a PE License featuring an NCEES record.
• At least 15 years of total engineering experience, with a strong preference for 3 to 4 years of direct semiconductor industry experience.
• Proficiency in CADD software, with Revit experience considered a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with electrical modeling tools like SKM, EasyPower, or ETAP is preferred.
• Strong communication skills are essential, and being bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
