World Wide Professional Solutions is a project solutions firm dedicated to lean construction and collaborative contracting. We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, for a full-time, on-site role that includes frequent travel to Costa Rica. We provide relocation assistance, per diem, and travel packages for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Lead teams of engineers and designers to execute electrical system designs for large greenfield and retrofit projects.
- Research, evaluate, and develop electrical systems for mission-critical data centers and advanced manufacturing facilities.
- Specify and approve power distribution, including 480V, 5kV, and 15kV levels.
- Conduct power quality, capacity, and load coordination studies, as well as emergency power and UPS strategies.
- Integrate renewable energy sources while maintaining mission-critical reliability.
- Manage the quality and delivery of schematic and detailed designs, including cable tray sizing and equipment layout.
- Coordinate electrical plans with mechanical, architectural, and structural disciplines.
- Ensure all designs comply with the National Electrical Code, NFPA, and other relevant building standards.
Must-haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 15 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 10 years specifically in electrical engineering.
- PE License with an NCEES record.
- Proven experience in semiconductor construction.
- Proficiency in CADD software and MS Office tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish.
- Experience with Revit.
- Working knowledge of SKM Power Tools, EasyPower, or ETAP.
- Prior experience with advanced technology facilities or mission-critical design.
- International work experience.
