Are you ready to help us transform the future of farming? At Aigen, we are on a mission to accelerate the transition to regenerative agriculture by deploying a fleet of pesticide-free, solar-powered robots. With over half of our agricultural land suffering from degradation, we are using cutting-edge robotics, AI, and climate technology to restore soil health. Having raised 19 million dollars from top-tier investors like NEA and Bessemer Ventures, we are looking for passionate individuals to join our team and make a tangible impact on the world.
What you bring
We are seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to join our hardware development team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. In this role, you will be a vital contributor to our vertically integrated robotics platform, ensuring our autonomous fleet operates reliably across diverse farm environments. Your work will involve close collaboration with mechanical, software, and operations teams to build the next generation of agricultural technology.
- Develop electrical system architectures and oversee circuit design.
- Manage the full lifecycle of PCB design, including schematic capture and release.
- Lead system integration, verification, and complex debugging efforts to ensure hardware performance.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field. We are looking for candidates with at least two years of experience developing electronics at the PCB level, particularly for robotics, automotive, or high-reliability products. You should be proficient in C, C++, Python, and Assembly, and have experience working with ARM Cortex microcontrollers. We value candidates who are comfortable with power management, embedded systems, and communication protocols like CAN, I2C, and SPI. Beyond technical skills, we look for individuals who thrive in fast-paced startup environments, possess a track record of launching hardware products, and demonstrate the ability to navigate complex, evolving challenges with innovative thinking.
What we offer
We provide a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and long-term success as we scale our impact. Our team culture celebrates diversity, and we are committed to fostering an environment where every voice is heard.
