We are looking for passionate innovators who want to help us solve complex challenges on the open water.
What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. This is a vital role for someone with a deep background in electrical systems who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing the electrical architecture that powers our next-generation autonomous vessels.
What will you do?
- Collaborate with our electrical design and manufacturing teams to refine product functionality, reliability, and process control throughout the entire development lifecycle.
- Prototype early-stage hardware to test design limits and execute changes that improve manufacturability and production efficiency.
- Analyze and resolve manufacturing discrepancies by working closely with our quality team to address issues in fabrication, design, and assembly.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and a desire to build complex, integrated systems. We value candidates who bring the following:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience designing electrical systems for complex projects, particularly within the maritime, defense, or automotive sectors.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with programming languages and industry standards like IEEE, IEC, or ABS is considered a significant plus.
- A willingness to travel as needed to support our projects.
What's in it for you?
We believe in taking care of our team members so they can focus on doing their best work. Our benefits package includes:
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, with the company covering a significant portion of premiums for you and your dependents.
- Generous paid time off and holiday schedules.
- Paid maternity and paternity leave for new parents.
- A 401(k) retirement plan to help you plan for the future.
- Stock options, giving you a direct stake in our company's success.
- Life insurance and disability coverage.
- Daily perks, including free lunch and a variety of snacks and drinks available in the office.
