At Ecorus, we believe in making sustainability a reality for businesses. As a leading force in the solar industry with over 120 employees, we handle everything from development and realization to long-term maintenance of commercial solar installations. Having successfully managed over 700 MW of solar projects and earning recognition as a 2024 Worldclass Workplace, we are now focused on expanding our footprint in Germany. We invite you to join our team as a Senior Electrical Engineer for Quality and Innovation to help us drive the transition to renewable energy.
What you'll be doing
- You will manage the end-to-end technical planning and conceptualization of solar installations, ranging from 0.1 MW to over 100 MW on both rooftops and open land.
- You will serve as a technical advisor during the bidding process, evaluating project feasibility and ensuring all designs meet rigorous quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- You will lead the coordination of grid integration and certification, acting as the primary point of contact for grid operators, internal departments, and external partners to ensure smooth project delivery.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in electrical engineering, ideally holding a degree, master technician, or master craftsman qualification. We are looking for someone who brings the following:
- Proven experience in managing solar or photovoltaic projects, combined with a deep understanding of energy networks and grid connection requirements.
- Solid knowledge of relevant technical standards and regulations, such as VDE 4105, 4110, 4120, TAB, and DIN.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and PVSyst is highly desirable for your daily design work.
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to solving complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English, allowing you to collaborate effectively within our international team.
- A willingness to travel occasionally within Germany and to our locations in the Netherlands.
What you'll get
We are committed to supporting your professional growth and personal well-being as we expand our operations in Germany. You can look forward to the following benefits:
- A flexible, hybrid work model that allows for a balance between remote work and time spent at our Düsseldorf office.
- Flexible working hours designed to support a healthy work-life balance and family needs.
- Access to professional development programs and tailored training opportunities.
- A company car that is also available for your private use.
- Participation in company retreats and the chance to work in a diverse, international environment with colleagues from 15 different nations.
- Generous paid time off to ensure you stay refreshed and energized.
