eCommerce Technical Lead at Hydrow

At Hydrow, we have developed a Live Outdoor Reality rowing machine that brings the experience of being on the water directly into the home. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for creating an honest, inclusive, and positive human experience to join us as our new eCommerce Technical Lead. What you'll be doing

• Design and build beautiful, immersive, and fast eCommerce experiences by utilizing leading-edge web technologies, including headless and serverless architectures.
• Provide technical direction for our digital presence, ensuring that our platform remains at the forefront of the consumer brand experience.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation where you can explore new technologies and grow your leadership skills while solving complex technical challenges.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should have a solid foundation in modern web development and a passion for building high-quality user interfaces. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 4 years of professional experience building and running high-traffic, full-stack web applications.
• Deep expertise in building eCommerce applications using Shopify or similar backend services within a headless environment.
• At least 2 years of professional experience with React frameworks, specifically Next.js.
• Strong proficiency in frontend development, including responsive design, accessible interfaces, and component-based CSS frameworks.
• Technical fluency in SEO principles, analytics, and tag management tools like GTM.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to cross-functional partners and stakeholders.
• Fluency in English.
