The role

We are looking for a Senior EAI Developer to join our team as a contractor. This is an on-site position based in Boca Raton, Florida, and we are specifically looking for local candidates who can commit to a project duration of at least six months. You will play a vital role in maintaining and evolving our integration services to support our ongoing technical initiatives.

Core responsibilities

• Design and implement complex integration solutions using Java EE and service-oriented architecture principles.
• Manage and optimize messaging workflows through JMS and Apache Camel to ensure reliable data transmission.
• Develop and maintain high-performance RESTful web services that utilize JSON for efficient data exchange across our enterprise platforms.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical background and a proven track record in enterprise integration. We require the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of professional experience working with Java EE, JMS, Web Services, REST, JSON, and SOA.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience specifically with Apache Camel.
• Proficiency in working with enterprise application servers.
• Strong communication skills in English to collaborate effectively with our local team.
