At Qwello, we are on a mission to transform the way the world moves by shifting from combustion engines to electric power. We design, build, and operate charging infrastructure specifically for public spaces, focusing on engineering excellence and a user-first approach. We believe that the most impactful products are created by collaborative teams rather than individual efforts. We value diverse perspectives and backgrounds, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion for shaping the future of e-mobility.
The opportunity
We are looking for an E-mobility Project Manager Intern to join our team in Germany. Based in Hamburg, you will play a vital role in expanding our charging network. You will work closely with city officials and partners to navigate the complexities of infrastructure deployment. This is a hands-on position designed for a student who wants to learn the ins and outs of project management within a fast-growing, dynamic industry. You will be instrumental in helping us drive the transition to electric mobility.
A day in the life
- You will assist in the strategic planning and coordination of site development projects across Germany, seeing them through from the initial phase to final completion.
- You will help maintain productive relationships with city officials and distribution system operators to ensure projects move forward smoothly.
- You will collaborate with both internal team members and external stakeholders to solve problems and achieve project milestones.
Who you are
You are a student who has completed a degree in business, engineering, urban planning, or a similar field. You possess a strong interest in project management and are eager to support a team in a high-impact environment. We are looking for someone with strong analytical and conceptual skills who is comfortable working with public institutions. Because you will be communicating with various stakeholders, you must have excellent communication skills and the ability to persuade others. You are self-organized, capable of handling multiple tasks at once, and possess a proactive, make-it-happen attitude. Please note that native-level fluency in German is required for this role, along with proficiency in English.
Why you'll love it here
We offer a collaborative environment where you can truly contribute to the mobility revolution. You will work alongside an international team representing over 30 nationalities. We prioritize your well-being and flexibility, offering a remote-friendly setup that allows you to choose between working from home, in our office, or a hybrid mix. You will also have access to the following benefits:
- Flexible work location options and 30 days of paid time off.
- Opportunities for professional development through lunch and learn sessions, training, and conferences.
- Wellness support through discounted access to Wellpass for fitness and mindfulness.
- Regular company retreats and team events, such as mountain e-bike tours and hikes, to help you connect with your colleagues.
- A flat hierarchy that ensures efficient decision-making without unnecessary red tape.
