Role at a glance
This is a full-time internship designed for a student interested in a postgraduate research project. You will be working on-site in Washington, DC, where you will receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced professionals within the Drinking Water Protection Division.
Your impact
- You will perform detailed drinking water data analyses using the EPA's internet-based SDWIS reporting software.
- You will create essential outreach materials and documentation to support our data systems and program goals.
- You will provide technical support to EPA regions, states, and various stakeholders while helping to improve the online presence of our drinking water programs.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong interest in data analysis, technology, and outreach. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with internet-based tools and reporting software. You must be proficient in English to effectively communicate with our team, EPA managers, and external partners like the Association of State Drinking Water Administrators.
