About the Role

We are seeking a Domestic Surveyor to join our team on a full-time basis. Based in West Berkshire, you will serve as a vital face of our company, visiting homes to assess properties for renewable energy upgrades. This mid-level role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in the field and wants to help customers transition to smarter, cleaner energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough home surveys to determine the suitability of properties for solar PV, heat pumps, and insulation measures.
• Collect precise data and perform heat loss calculations to generate accurate quotes for our customers.
• Act as an advocate for renewable technology by clearly explaining the installation process and the benefits of these systems to homeowners.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in customer service and a technical aptitude for energy efficiency. We value the following qualifications and skills:

• Proven experience in face-to-face customer communication, ideally involving property assessments or equipment sizing.
• Technical knowledge of solar, electricity, and energy efficiency systems is highly beneficial.
• Strong IT skills, as you will be working with our proprietary technology to manage data and reporting.
• Professional certifications such as Domestic Energy Assessor or Retrofit Assessor are considered a significant advantage.
• A resilient mindset and the ability to adapt quickly to the fast-paced nature of our field operations.
