GuestReady is a global leader in short-term rental management, dedicated to revolutionizing the hospitality industry through innovative technology. Since our launch in 2016, we have managed a portfolio worth over $1 billion and facilitated more than 3.3 million guest nights, and we are currently seeking a Senior Django / ReactJS Developer to join our remote team as a contractor.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy new features across our platforms.
Write code that is stable, secure, scalable, and efficient.
Collaborate with product management, finance, and analytics teams to define user stories and application requirements.
Work alongside a dedicated team of 25 professionals, including 18 web developers, product managers, and a data analyst.

Must-haves

At least 3 years of professional experience working with Django and Python.
Practical experience with ReactJS and comfort writing front-end code.
Solid understanding of web development fundamentals, including HTML and CSS.
Experience working with RDBMS, specifically MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Fluency in English.
A strong desire to work remotely for a global organization.

Nice-to-haves

Knowledge of TDD and experience with code refactoring.
Familiarity with Agile software development principles.
Ability to identify performance bottlenecks and implement effective system monitoring.
Interest in Unix environments.
An MSc or equivalent degree in Software Engineering or Information Technology.
