Are you ready to shape the future of digital experience assurance at a company whose AI-powered platform already helps organizations deliver flawless performance across networks they don’t even own?
What you bring
We are looking for a Distinguished Engineer to join our AI/ML team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. In this executive-level role you will guide model training, tuning, and evaluation for deep-learning and large-language-model initiatives while shaping data-collection strategies, data engineering, feature engineering, and evaluation frameworks. Your work will directly influence the Network Assurance Roadmap and the way our platform optimizes networks for applications.
- Guide and mentor a team of AI engineers in designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale AI/ML pipelines, including the tuning and evaluation of LLMs.
- Lead the creation of evaluation frameworks and metrics for both traditional models and transformer-based architectures.
- Translate ambiguous product challenges into clear AI/ML solutions that drive product direction and user experience.
This position is located in the United States and requires on-site collaboration.
Requirements
You bring at least 15 years of software-development experience, including a minimum of five years building and evaluating machine-learning models and shipping large-scale ML products. A PhD is preferred. You have deep expertise in neural networks, transformer models, large language models, decision trees, and other traditional ML approaches, and you are fluent in Python as well as frameworks such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch, or TensorFlow. You excel at orchestrating cross-functional teams of researchers, data scientists, and ML-infrastructure engineers, and you have a proven record of deploying models into internet-scale production environments. Strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to turn conceptual ideas into robust, scalable solutions are essential. We value diverse perspectives and encourage you to apply even if you do not meet every single qualification listed.
