We are thrilled that you are considering a leadership role at DELFI Diagnostics. We are a company dedicated to revolutionizing cancer detection through our innovative, blood-based testing platform. By utilizing advanced machine learning on whole-genome sequencing data, we analyze fragmentomics to identify tell-tale patterns of cancer. Our first test, FirstLook Lung, is designed to be accessible and reliable for routine screenings. We operate with a deep commitment to science, pragmatism, and inclusivity, aiming to improve health outcomes for everyone, regardless of their background or location. We are looking for a visionary leader to join our remote team and help us drive our mission forward.
What you'll be doing
- You will lead and mentor a team of software product managers who are focused on building essential laboratory software.
- You will serve as the primary product lead for our bioinformatics pipeline, carefully balancing the needs of research and development with the requirements of lab-developed and in-vitro diagnostic tests.
- You will formulate and execute comprehensive software product strategies that align directly with our long-term company objectives and priorities.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in software leadership and a passion for health technology. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 12 years of experience in software product or program management.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in team management and leadership.
- Proven ability to work effectively with Agile software teams.
- Deep expertise in cross-functional strategic planning and the software development life cycle.
- Experience in gathering requirements for user interface design.
- A solid understanding of software systems that support clinical laboratories.
- The ability to translate and communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Fluency in English.
We would love it if you also have experience with IVD development, next-generation sequencing, bioinformatics, EMR integrations, or billing systems for diagnostic tests.
What you'll get
- The flexibility of a fully remote work environment.
- The opportunity to work with a high-performing team that values empathy, humility, and collective intelligence.
- The chance to contribute to life-changing science that aims to disrupt the path of cancer on a global scale.
