What you bring
We are hiring a Director/Manager, Marketing to lead both marketing and inside-sales functions on a Full Time basis. In this hybrid role based in Japan, you will own demand generation from strategy through to qualified pipeline, working closely with Product, PR, Sales, and Customer Success. You will combine hands-on campaign execution with people leadership, guiding a six-person team that includes Brand Marketing, Content Marketing, Field Marketing, Sales Development, Inside Sales, and a QA Evangelist. Your three main responsibilities will be:
- Designing and executing an integrated ABM program that spans offline events, webinars, and media partnerships to generate, nurture, and qualify leads.
- Building scalable marketing operations, including KPI frameworks, partner selection, and seamless hand-off processes between marketing and inside sales.
- Setting OKRs, coaching team members, and planning headcount so the group continues to grow while consistently hitting pipeline targets.
Requirements
You bring at least three years of people-management experience leading a team of around five, along with a proven track record running full-funnel B2B marketing campaigns for enterprise clients. You are comfortable defining strategy, choosing channels, creating content, measuring results, and iterating quickly in fast-changing environments. Experience with OKR-driven goal setting, marketing automation platforms, and ABM programs is highly valued. Professional working proficiency in both Japanese (CEFR C1 or above) and English (CEFR B2 or above) is required. An ideal candidate thrives in a global startup atmosphere, adapts priorities on the fly, and enjoys collaborating across Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
