Normalyze is making waves in the cybersecurity world as a fast-growing, venture-backed leader in Data Security Posture Management. Recently honored with 2024 Cybersecurity Excellence awards, we are redefining how enterprises protect their data across cloud, SaaS, and on-premises environments. We are looking for a visionary Director of UX Design to join our team and help us build intuitive, powerful solutions that change the way security and data teams work together.
Role at a glance
This is a full-time, executive-level position based in the United States. We operate with a hybrid work model, allowing for a blend of flexibility and face-to-face collaboration. You will serve as a key leader, initially acting as an individual contributor with the exciting mandate to eventually build and manage a dedicated UX team as we scale.
Your impact
- Partner directly with the Head of Product to define our UX strategy and deliver high-quality, user-centered experiences for our enterprise software.
- Lead hands-on user research and usability testing to turn complex data security challenges into simple, effective interface solutions.
- Establish design guidelines and best practices to ensure consistency across our entire product suite while advocating for the value of UX across the organization.
What you'll need
- At least 8 years of experience in UX design, with a strong focus on enterprise applications.
- A proven track record of leading complex design projects from initial concept to final delivery.
- Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD.
- A deep understanding of user-centered design principles, ideally with experience designing for security personas like CISOs or compliance directors.
- The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.
- Fluency in English.
