We are currently looking for a strategic leader to join our Technology Strategy and Services division, helping us safeguard the data entrusted to us by patients, supporters, and staff while driving the technological initiatives that power our mission.
Role at a glance
We are seeking a Director, Technology Portfolio and Project Management to lead our PMO operations. This is a full-time, lead-level position based in the United States. You will work in a hybrid capacity, with an expectation to be onsite two days per week if you are based in the New York City area.
Your impact
- Lead the strategic execution and continuous improvement of our Technology PMO, ensuring disciplined delivery across IT and Information Security portfolios.
- Transform the PMO into a Value Realization Office by establishing governance frameworks, tracking performance metrics, and fostering a culture of accountability.
- Mentor and manage a team of project managers while partnering with cross-functional leaders to ensure our technology initiatives align with our broader organizational goals.
What you'll need
- At least 8 years of experience in technology portfolio, program, and project management with a history of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- A bachelor’s degree is required, while an MBA or relevant professional certifications are highly preferred.
- At least 4 years of experience leading and developing teams of project managers.
- Deep expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to adapt these practices to fit our specific organizational needs.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex technical information into actionable business insights.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

- Fluency in English.
