Director, Software Engineering QA at Aera Technology

We are a fast-growing, venture-backed organization with a global team of over 400 professionals, and we are looking for a visionary leader to join us as our Director of Software Engineering QA in India.

What you'll be doing

• You will take full ownership of product quality for our AI-driven platform, overseeing the daily operations of both manual and automation testing teams.
• You will collaborate closely with product managers and key stakeholders to ensure all quality requirements are met for every service and product we release.
• You will provide technical thought leadership and strategic direction, coaching your direct reports and managing cross-functional QA teams across our global offices in the US, India, and Romania.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should possess a deep commitment to delivering high-quality products and ensuring customer satisfaction. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Over 15 years of experience in software quality assurance for complex enterprise products, including at least 5 years in a leadership or management capacity.
• Extensive knowledge of the software development lifecycle and QA processes.
• Hands-on expertise with Java and Selenium WebDriver, with at least 4 years of practical experience in test automation.
• Proficiency in tools and technologies such as JUnit, REST-Assured, JMeter, Maven, Jenkins, and MySQL.
• A strong understanding of Cloud Technologies like AWS, Azure, or GCP is highly valued.
• An innovative mindset with a passion for exploring new technologies to improve team productivity and product excellence.
