Director, Site Reliability Engineer at Ordergroove

We are Ordergroove, a company dedicated to powering recurring revenue for some of the world's most innovative retailers, including brands like L'Oreal and Dollar Shave Club. With over 11 percent of American adults using subscriptions powered by our technology, we are at the forefront of the Relationship Commerce space. We are currently seeking a Director, Site Reliability Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. In this leadership role, you will help us infinitely scale our platform while ensuring it remains secure and efficient for our global partners.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute our long-term vision for cloud deployment strategies, operational excellence, and continuous delivery.
• Lead our efforts in automation, scalability, and platform reliability to ensure our services operate securely at all times.
• Collaborate closely with our security, QA, and engineering teams to streamline release processes and improve how we push high-quality code.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should bring a strong background in managing complex environments and a passion for modern infrastructure. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 8 years of professional experience in SRE, DevOps, or a similar capacity within cloud, private, or hybrid environments.
• Deep technical proficiency with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef.
• Extensive experience with container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong command of Linux administration, specifically with CentOS, RHEL, or Debian systems.
• Proven ability to configure CI/CD pipelines and manage Nginx and MySQL configurations.
• Excellent communication skills with a service-oriented mindset and the ability to mentor a team of engineers.
