Key outcomes
- Define and execute product strategy for Clever’s cybersecurity and data integration solutions, with a primary focus on Identity and Access Management across the entire product suite.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to bring new products to market and scale existing offerings that serve 75% of U.S. schools.
- Build deep insight into customer pain points and the competitive landscape to guide product enhancements that improve security and user experience.
- Manage and mentor a team of Product Managers, fostering high standards of leadership, innovation, and product craft.
- Strengthen product development processes and culture, emphasizing disciplined product management practices and data-driven decision making.
- Partner with external executive leaders to co-create solutions tailored to K-12 environments and represent Clever in industry working groups.
- Drive a metrics-oriented product culture that measures success and supports continuous improvement.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of product management experience for a Director-level appointment, or 12 years for a Senior Director-level appointment, with a proven record of developing and scaling B2B cybersecurity and Identity and Access Management products.
- At least 5 years of people-management experience for Director level, or 8 years for Senior Director level, including a history of building and scaling high-performing teams.
- Experience working in small enterprise or startup environments and navigating the unique challenges these settings present.
- Customer-facing experience that includes engagement with enterprise executive leadership.
- Demonstrated success repeatedly bringing new products to market.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, Identity and Access Management, and current cybersecurity trends.
- Deep understanding of product management craft and processes.
- Ability to balance customer needs with business objectives and align product decisions with overall company strategy.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills that enable effective influence across teams and stakeholders.
- Fluency in English.

Compensation
For candidates located in the United States outside New York City and San Francisco, the base salary range is $199,000 to $235,000 at the Director level and $233,000 to $275,000 at the Senior Director level. For candidates in New York City or San Francisco, the range is $219,000 to $258,000 at the Director level and $257,000 to $302,000 at the Senior Director level. All final offers are determined by multiple factors, including experience and level of expertise.
