The opportunity

We are looking for a Director of Security Engineering to help us protect the people, processes, and technology that power our global platform. In this executive-level role, you will lead the strategic vision for our security engineering initiatives across our hybrid infrastructure, which spans major public clouds and global data centers. You will be the driving force behind our security posture, ensuring that we remain resilient as we grow and evolve. A day in the life

• You will define and execute the strategy for our core security functions, including Application Security, Infrastructure and Endpoint Security, and Identity and Access Management.
• You will lead, mentor, and grow a team of security engineers, overseeing their professional development while providing technical guidance on complex projects from conception to deployment.
• You will collaborate with internal stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, and Privacy to ensure our security standards are robust, effective, and aligned with our broader business goals.

Who you are

You are a seasoned leader with a deep technical background in security engineering and architecture. You possess the ability to bridge the gap between high-level executive strategy and hands-on technical implementation. Your background includes:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or at least 12 years of equivalent technical experience.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in security engineering, with at least 4 years in a leadership capacity.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience managing enterprise security tools such as SIEM, vulnerability management, and endpoint protection.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to both technical teams and senior leadership.
• A proven track record of designing and managing security solutions for large, complex organizations.
