We are looking for a strategic Director of Retail Market Development to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. At Digimarc, we are building the trust layer for the modern world by creating secure solutions that help consumers, businesses, and intelligent systems verify what is real. As a key vendor in the TrustOps category, we protect truth in both physical and digital spaces, serving clients ranging from global retailers to central banks. In this senior role, you will act as a vital liaison between our retail customers and hardware partners like Honeywell, Datalogic, NCR, and Zebra to drive the adoption and integration of our loss prevention technologies.
Responsibilities
- Build and nurture strategic executive relationships with retail clients and major hardware partners to foster long-term growth and technology adoption.
- Collaborate with hardware vendors to align product roadmaps, ensuring our solutions are seamlessly integrated and optimized within their offerings.
- Facilitate effective cross-functional communication between our internal teams, retail stakeholders, and hardware account managers to overcome operational challenges and accelerate deployment.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of professional experience with a proven track record in the retail industry.
- Deep expertise in retail operations and a comprehensive understanding of the hardware ecosystem, including the relationships between manufacturers and retailers.
- Exceptional skills in strategic planning, negotiation, and executive-level communication.
- A results-oriented mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- A strong grasp of software deployment concepts and retail point-of-sale solutions is highly valued.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
What we offer
