About the Role
We are looking for a Director of Quality Assurance to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this leadership position, you will oversee a cross-functional group of software engineers, analysts, and manual testers. Your goal is to ensure that our applications are built on solid architectural foundations and reliable data. You will partner with engineering leaders across the company to integrate systems that elevate our quality standards and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the final decision-maker on release readiness, holding engineering leadership accountable for the quality of our shipments.
- Define and take direct ownership of the quality metrics that are reported to our executive team.
- Develop a comprehensive quality strategy that includes driving build versus buy decisions, managing quality architecture, and fostering the adoption of new frameworks across the organization.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience managing quality functions for data-driven applications.
- A track record of leading software engineers to implement and integrate quality frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to drive the adoption of new quality plans within an organization of at least 50 people.
- A strong passion for automation and experience with standard QA practices like test planning, bug metrics, and data quality dashboards.
- A data-driven mindset and clear, effective communication skills.
- While not required, experience with healthcare data ingestion is considered a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
The expected salary range for this role is $223,000 to $273,000. We determine the final offer based on your specific qualifications, years of experience, and skillset. In addition to your salary, you will have access to a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
