Role at a glance
We are seeking an experienced Director, Quality Assurance to join us on a full-time basis. This is an executive-level position that can be performed remotely from anywhere. You will be responsible for defining the standards and practices that ensure our cloud-based applications remain secure, scalable, and reliable for our customers.
Your impact
- Develop and execute a comprehensive quality strategy that aligns with our engineering goals and accelerates our release cycles.
- Lead and mentor a globally distributed team of QA professionals, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Design robust QA processes, including test planning and automation, while ensuring our software meets high standards for performance, security, and data integrity.
What you'll need
- 8 to 12 years of experience in cloud software testing, with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and security.
- At least 8 years in a leadership role managing globally distributed QA organizations.
- 5 or more years of experience utilizing test automation tools such as Selenium, Testrail, or SonarQube, along with code analysis and DAST.
- Deep knowledge of industry-standard security and compliance requirements for cloud applications.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, paired with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
- Bonus points for experience with Agile Scrum methodologies, HCM or payroll solutions, and managing QA vendors.
