We are searching for a Director, Product & Markets to lead our distributed solar generation offerings from initial strategy through to final execution. Reactivate is a joint venture between Invenergy and Lafayette Square, dedicated to building an equitable energy future by developing and operating renewable energy projects that serve low-income communities and create meaningful economic opportunities for underserved populations.
Responsibilities
- Direct our nationwide market intelligence and strategy by utilizing our internal industry and policy tracking resources.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on distributed solar incentives, programs, and tariff structures for our finance, development, and origination teams.
- Identify new business prospects and design effective outreach strategies.
- Manage our participation in state programs and lead our response to Requests for Proposals.
- Create and refine regional product strategies that incorporate new technologies like energy storage and electric vehicles.
- Collaborate with our technology team to foster innovation through structured product management processes.
- Draft comprehensive program requirement documents to guide our EPC, development, and impact teams.
- Oversee partnerships with third-party consultants to build subscriber acquisition strategies for our community solar initiatives.
- Engage with industry associations and trade groups to stay at the forefront of regulatory and policy changes.
- Coordinate with our parent organizations to align on community and market dynamics.
- Analyze customer data and conduct research to ensure our product offerings directly address the needs of the communities we serve.
Must-haves
- At least 8 years of professional experience in energy product management, corporate strategy, renewable energy policy, or distributed generation.
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, economics, political science, or a related field.
- A strong grasp of the United States power market and its influence on business deal structures.
- Proven success in executing strategies based on competitive analysis and market research.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and English communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting while maintaining high attention to detail.
- A personal commitment to our mission and the ability to effectively communicate our vision to others.
