The role
We are seeking an experienced executive to join our team as a Director, Product Marketing. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Canada. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for scaling our product marketing, competitive intelligence, and analyst relations functions. You will serve as a vital bridge between our product, marketing, and sales teams, ensuring that the voice of our customer remains at the center of everything we do.
Core responsibilities
- Lead and scale: Build and mentor a high-performing team of managers focused on competitive intelligence, market intelligence, and product marketing, while fostering a culture of inclusivity and excellence.
- Drive GTM strategy: Own our go-to-market strategy by aligning cross-functional teams, orchestrating product launches, and ensuring our messaging resonates with target buyers to drive revenue growth.
- Influence and analyze: Use data-driven insights to monitor the competitive landscape and market trends, allowing you to influence the analyst community and identify new opportunities for product differentiation.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a deep understanding of B2B SaaS marketing and the product development lifecycle. We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Over 10 years of experience in B2B SaaS software marketing, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proficiency with essential tools, including Salesforce, marketing automation systems, data analytics platforms, and sales enablement software.
- A proven track record of executing successful go-to-market strategies and managing complex product launches.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical features into compelling benefits for both internal stakeholders and the C-suite.
- A strategic mindset combined with a willingness to dive into the details to get the job done.
