At Doxel, we’re applying computer vision and AI to the $15 trillion construction industry so teams can see exactly where a project stands in real time. Our platform is already trusted by leaders such as Shell, Genentech, HCA Healthcare, Kaiser, Turner, and Layton, and it helps customers finish projects an average of 11 percent ahead of schedule while cutting monthly cash-flow needs by up to 16 percent. We’re backed by Insight Partners and Andreessen Horowitz and are growing quickly across engineering, science, and go-to-market teams.
What is this role?
We are hiring a Director, Product Engineering on a full-time basis. The position is open to senior leaders and is fully remote, with the option to work from anywhere.
What will you do?
- Lead the engineers and engineering managers who build and maintain Doxel’s customer-facing application, setting the technical vision for its full-stack architecture.
- Partner with product, design, operations, and customer-success teams to translate strategic priorities into scalable new features and deliver them on time.
- Shape the team’s technical roadmap and resource plan, then grow the group by hiring at a high bar, onboarding new members, and supporting everyone’s career development.
What makes you a great fit?
You hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, or another technical field. You bring at least five years of experience managing managers and ten or more years of engineering leadership that includes shipping large-scale, customer-facing products. You have deep technical experience with service-oriented architecture, web client frameworks, data pipelines, and AI/ML, and you have already built products that leverage machine learning. Experience with 3D rendering in a web client, domain knowledge in construction, or a background building software for operations-heavy businesses is a plus. You communicate clearly in English and enjoy collaborating across functions to turn ambitious goals into working software.
What's in it for you?
We offer the freedom of fully remote work so you can contribute from the location that suits you best.
